Terri's Beanie Weenie Scallopini

Beanie Weenie Scallopini  When my son Phillip was a toddler, we listened to The Adventures of Patch the Pirate . On one of his adventures he landed in the old west and met a fascinating character who ate a dish called Beanie Weenie Scallopini. Sharing is Caring

I have decided to share some recipes here that my friends & family have shared through the years in various church cookbooks. Besides all the lovely family recipes from my family and extended family through marriage. Some folks have already gone home to be with Jesus. They have left behind a rich heritage of fine home cooking for those they have prayed for but never met. Did you know you could do that? Pray for the family members you don't have yet? God honors these prayers. I know. They are the reason I got saved: somebody prayed for me. They prayed for my salvation before I was born. They prayed for my salvation when I was lost in sin. They prayed for me to love Jesus. And, so, I too pray for the family members I have. For the ones I have yet to gain. For the children of my children and their children, should our LORD tarry His return.

Strawberry-Lime-Blueberry Squeeze

Image
Tools: 1 Pitcher with fruit smasher as above Ingredients: 2 Cups cold water 1 1/2 to 2 Cups fresh or frozen fruits (I used frozen strawberries, blueberries and 3/4 fresh lime) Ice (optional) Directions: Place fruits and ice under smasher. Add cold water. Press fruit. Pour into glass. May use more ice if desiring, or chill glass(es) ahead of making. You can use any combination of fruits, to vary the tastes. Also, if you want to, you can add sugar; but I just wanted some really good fruited water to drink. Coffee is okay in the morning, but once you are fully awake out here, a cold beverage tastes great.
